How to eat it:
- Take this tasty idea out with you somewhere and show the world that you know how to make a great lunch that is great for you!
What you need:
(This is our first recipe that we can say most of this is up to you!)
- At least 1 cucumber (we recommend more for later lunches or for company)
- Low-sodium lunch meat. The less preservatives and harmful ingredients the better!
- Your favorite healthy spread(s) or even better your own homemade ones! Check our site for some ideas.
How to make it:
- Cut the cucumber in half
- Scoop out the seeds
- Leave a cavity for you to put your lunch meat and other ingredients in
- Put your chosen HEALTHY ingredients into one of the cucumber slices
- Cover it up with the other half and have yourself a cucumber sub or see our substitutes for another idea
Substitutes to try:
- Open-faced: Make two smaller sandwiches that are open faced. It will be a lot easier to eat!
